Description
The University of Tunis El Manar is a public institution of an administrative nature created in 1987 under the name of "University of Sciences, Techniques and Medicine of Tunis" by article 97 of Law No. 87-83 of December 31, 1987. It had its current name according to Decree No. 2000-2826 of 27 November 2000, concerning the change of name of universities.
Bringing together the oldest and most prestigious higher education and research institutions in Tunisia. The UTM has a quality training offer, open to the needs of society and multidisciplinary (Basic sciences and techniques of engineering, human sciences, political, legal and economics, medical and paramedical sciences).
Comprising the largest number of research structures at the national level, the UTM is both strong and radiant in quality research that covers the most varied fields (health, water, environment, energy, etc.) and is in a framework for national and international research strategy.
